- Singles, never be in haste to get married. Be patient and settle down with the man or woman that will treat you well. It is better to be a little late and get it right than to hurry and get it wrong.
- Married folks, disagreements happen in every relationship, including marriage. However, it is important that you watch what you do and say whenever these issues occur. And remember, your actions amidst a misunderstanding reveal your innermost feelings.
- Stop making excuses for things that are going wrong, having every reason and explanation for why things are not the way they should be. Instead, be a woman or man of wisdom, take action, make a move and seek help.
- Do not be deceived; there is no amount of anointing that makes you capable of handling all of life’s challenges by yourself. That is pride. Open up and ventilate your life for greater productivity and effectiveness. The Bible says one shall chase a thousand and two shall put ten thousand to flight (Deuteronomy 32:30). What you are going through might be more than what you alone can ‘chase’. It is not a shameful thing to ask for help.
- There is no wisdom in dying in silence. Open up and give more meaning to your life.
- Whatever might be your calling or assignment, somebody somewhere has done something like it before and he or she has confronted and slain the giants you are facing. It is wisdom to connect and learn from such people. Calling for help when you need it is not weakness but strength. So, do not give room to pride by refusing to seek godly counsel.
- One of the best things you can do in life is to be sincere with yourself. Pretence is costlier than you think. When you pretend, you only make a fool of yourself. The person you are trying to impress (or deceive) might even know more than you think.
- If you do not want to be robbed of your dignity and honour, you must shun ignorance and seek knowledge. The truth you know is the one that can make you free (John 8:23). Remember, what you do not know may be what is killing you. Inadequate information about a particular situation is problematic and can be fatal. Uzzah’s death in 2 Samuel 6:7 was attributed to his ignorance about handling the ark of God.
- Crave for knowledge, be adequately informed, and do not die in silence through ignorance.
- There are men and women who know that they need help in certain areas and they also know how to get it, yet they have refused to do so due to stubbornness. The biblical truth on this subject is very clear, it states: “For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king” (1 Samuel 15:23). Stubbornness and idolatry are rated equally in the Scriptures. It is a terrible sin that makes God reject you, and it ultimately destroys you! Should you not run from it?
- Sometimes, frustration due to unsuccessful attempts in the past has robbed many of their present blessings. Irrespective of what happened in the past, bear in mind that no situation is hopeless. There is always a way out. Naaman, the centurion leper, had sought various help but his leprosy remained. When he finally went to Israel for help, he almost missed it due to frustration. Usually, the enemy brings frustration when you are closest to your help. You will not be frustrated out of your help zone in Jesus’ Name.
