In Jesus' Name, your life will have a huge impact on those around you. Who is a woman? She is defined as any female over the age of 25. She can be a daughter, a wife, a mother-in-law, or a mother herself. God knew how valuable a woman was, so He took His time creating her. What is power? Power is the ability to direct or influence the behaviour of others. Power is more than just physical strength. The power of a woman lies in her ability to achieve whatever she sets her mind to. When women are referred to in the Bible as weaker vessels, it is in reference to men who are instructed to treat us properly (1 Peter 3:17). Women are powerful. Features of a woman: 1. Physique: She has a very different physiology than a man, which makes her attractive. 2. Intuition: A woman's unique ability to understand something without using conscious reasoning. It is also referred to as the sixth sense. 3. Multitasking ability: A woman is everything to everyone in her home. She does not take any time off. 4. She is industrious. 5. During difficult times, she serves as a support system for all members of the family. These abilities can be put to good use for the benefit of all those around her. Negative Examples of Powerful Women: 1. Eve - With her charm, she persuaded her husband, Adam, to eat the forbidden fruit. 2. Sarah - She had the power of persuasion and was able to convince Abraham to sleep with Hagar. 3. Jezebel - She used her influence to convert her husband, Ahab, to idolatry (1 Kings 16:32). 4. Rebecca - Her excessive love for one of her children, Jacob, harmed the brothers' relationship (Genesis 27). 5. Athalia - She gave her son, the king, bad advice, which led to his assassination after only a year in power (2 Kings 11). 6. Vashti - She was so enamoured with her beauty that she embarrassed her husband, the king.

She is a helper to the man to whom she is married (Genesis 1:26, Proverbs 31:1-31). How to Use Your Power Positively as a Woman: 1. Pray for yourself, your family, ministry, business, etc. (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Do not wait until your husband is praying before you pray. You must commit yourself to prayer. Establish regular times to pray (daily) and fast (weekly). You cannot harbour bitterness, hatred, or unforgiveness in your heart and pray effectively. God will only answer the prayer of the righteous (1 Peter 3:12). You cannot successfully pray for someone you have not forgiven. 2. Use your power to fix your home (Proverbs 14:1). Your words should be used to heal. Real women build homes, not tear them down. Be slow to speak (James 1:17). Know your limits when you're angry. Give wise advice. 3. Be unpredictable in your appearance. Don't be too rigid about how you look. In their wives' appearances, men prefer variety. Adopt a healthy lifestyle and take care of your body. Because when you are healthy, you will be able to fulfil your purpose. 4. You cannot be friends with everyone. Do not try to please everyone, especially at the expense of your home. Maintain positive and responsible relationships. You should look for friends who share your values. Most importantly, if you don't have Christ, you can't use your power positively (Matthew 6:33). #rccgcityofrefuge
