(Lamentations 3:22-23)
I welcome you all to October, the tenth month of the year and the month of double grace; may the Name of the Most High God be glorified in our lives this month in Jesus’ Name.
I would like to first thank God for the privilege to witness this new month alive and in good health for everyone who witnessed the beginning of this year 2023 right from January up until the present moment. It is God who has seen us through, not by our power and might, as the Bible reflected in Zechariah 4:6, “Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.”
Therefore, it is my earnest prayer that the Lord, Who has helped us thus far, will see us through the rest of the year in the mighty Name of Jesus. To the people of the world, the last four months of the year are called the ember months, which according to them signifies disaster and sorrow, but for us, Christians, it is a period when we rejoice over all that the Lord has done for us since the beginning of the year and also in expectation and anticipation of what He will do in the remaining part of the year. The popular hymn says we should count our blessings and name them one by one, and it would surprise us what the Lord has done. So, as you read this piece, begin to count the blessings of the Lord upon your life and give Him praise.
Also, as we have begun the last quarter of the year, we need to hold on to the pillar of Christ, Who is the author and finisher of our faith, with respect to outstanding issues that we are still believing God to sort out in our lives. Our God is able, and according to Matthew 17:20, with God, just believe, that nothing shall be impossible.
In Luke 1:7, who would have thought that Zachariah and Elizabeth, his wife, could still carry their baby? The Bible records that they were stricken in age. One would have thought that all hope was gone, but God showed up in their situation. May the Almighty God show up for you too before the end of this year in Jesus’ Name. Do not see the delay as a denial; God is in the process of arranging the best for you. Therefore, I decree over everyone reading this piece that as the year runs out, the best will come your way in Jesus’ Name.

- Thank God for all He has been doing in your life since the beginning of the year, for protection and provisions.
- Father, as I begin the last quarter of the year 2023, You will see me through in Jesus’ Name.
- Father, as I begin the last quarter of the year 2023, I will not fail, nor will my expectations be cut off in Jesus’ Name.
- Father, please let the month of October usher in double blessings in every area of my life in Jesus’ Name.
