As usual, I welcome you to a new month, the month of March, the third month of the year which represents Trinity. May God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit abide with you and all your household this month. May the Joy of the Lord be your strength in all you do and the ever shining Glory of the Lord rest upon you and overshadow you and your entire household this month in Jesus Name.
The theme (Divine Revelation and Great Ideas) is reflective of what God will accomplish in your life this month. Divine revelation connotes the divine leading of God to open our eyes to see God’s vision, His plans and purpose for your life this month. The Bible passage (Genesis 22:11 – 13) illustrates the importance of the divine leading of God and revelation of His divine intention.
The following principles of the scriptures as illustrated in the passage will help you understand how God leads:
I. Move When God Says Move.
“And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him.” (Genesis 22:1 – 3).
In the passage you will discover that Abraham did not argue with God, as most of us do. God is omniscient (He knows all things). The Bible says – “His ways are not our ways and thoughts not our thoughts” (Isaiah 55:8).
Obedience, this month, is better than sacrifice.
II. When you obey God, He will always go ahead of you to make all crooked paths straight.
“I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:” (Isaiah 45:2).
III. Before God asks you to go He has already made provisions for your need.
“And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.” (Genesis 22:13).
It is my prayer that the Lord will provide for your needs and that of your entire household this month in Jesus Name.
PRAYER POINTS
1. Thank God and give Him praise for the privilege He has given you to see another month.
2. Ask God to cleanse you and wash you with His Blood as you embark on a journey into a new month. No power of sin will have dominion over you this month.
3. Father, please let me hear You and give me the grace to obey Your commandments this month in Jesus Name.
4. Father, please go ahead of me this month and make all crooked places straight for me in Jesus Name
5. I decree and declare in the mighty name of Jesus that there shall be provisions for me in all areas of life before the needs arise in Jesus Name.
