Revelation 19:1-6
Happy New Year! I welcome you all to the year 2023, a year of HALLELUJAH, and a year in which you will enjoy the greatest blessings from the Almighty God since the beginning of your life. Glory to God for seeing us through the year 2022. In spite of all the challenges and difficulties, the Lord saw us through. Let us give the Lord all the thanks and glorify His holy Name. Thank You, Father, for making us see a new year.
What is Halleluyah? It is a heavenly language spoken by believers, which means the end of an era and the beginning of a new one. When one shouts hallelujah, it could mean “at last it is over.” For example, for all of us who have seen the beginning of a new year, it is halleluyah because not all of those who began 2022 are still alive to witness the new year. So, for the gift of life, we will shout “halleluyah.” Also, the shout of hallelujah can equally signify the end of an era, meaning, finally we are out of all the troubles and attendant problems of the past year. For example, someone who was sick in the previous year and thought there was no way or hope of recovery based on medical reports, but God stood by him, strengthened him, and made him survive would undoubtedly have reason to rejoice in the new year. According to Exodus 15:1, after God had delivered the Israelites from the hands of their oppressors, “Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the Lord, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the Lord, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.”
Also, one shouts “hallelujah” when coming out of shame or a shameful situation designed by the enemies to destroy you, as seen in 2 Kings 18:13–37 and 19:1–37, after the Lord had delivered Hezekiah and the people of Judah from the hands of their enemies, through the prophecy of prophet Isaiah. As the Lord has brought you out and delivered you from the hands of those who wanted to put you to shame in 2022, you shall shout halleluyah.
Also, a shout of “hallelujah” will fill the air when one comes out of the captivity of the devil. It is a great thing to be delivered out of the hands of someone or a situation that holds one down against one’s will (Genesis 35:2 and 49:3). May the Lord put an end to captivity in the life of every reader of this piece in Jesus’ Name.
It is also pertinent to note that a shout of “hallelujah” is imminent when one comes out of darkness (Psalm 91:5-8).
Finally, one will shout halleluyah at the beginning of great things, particularly in 2023. May the shout of hallelujah fill your mouth this year in Jesus’ Name.
Prayer Points:
1) Thank God and worship Him for His mercies that have endured in your life in the past years.
2) Thank God also for the privilege to see the new year 2023.
3) Father, let this year be a great turnaround in my life, family, ministry, finances, career and spiritual life in Jesus’ Name.
4) I decree promotion for every area of my life in the year 2023, in Jesus’ Name.
5) Throughout the year 2023, I shall shout halleluyah in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ.
HAPPY NEW YEAR AND WELCOME TO A YEAR OF HALLELUJAH.
Shalom!
