YEAR OF GREATER GLORY (1 Chronicles 16:27, Psalm 29:1-11)

I welcome you into a year of Greater Glory; a year of the tangible manifestation of God’s power and presence in all we do. His Glory shall envelop us all this year like never before in Jesus Name. I like to introduce you to this year by recommending the twelve (12) prayer points in the Open Heavens Devotional of 3rd January 2019 (spend 5 minutes on each prayer point). Start the year with prayers, live a holy life, help others, serve the Lord with your substance and it shall be well with you in Jesus Name.

  1. Father, thank You for keeping me alive to see this new year. Go ahead and just thank God for all the journey mercies He gave you in 2019, all the times He healed you, all the times He provided for you. Just give Him praise.
  2. Father, in this new year, don’t let me spend money for the devil. Don’t let me spend on sickness, court cases or anything that is evil.
  3. Father, in this new year, grant all my heart’s desires and let my joy be full. Everything I lay my hand upon according to Your will, let them be successful.
  4. Father, in this new year, anytime I call on You, please answer me speedily.

I want to thank God for the salvation of my soul and protection over me and my family. During the first week of the November fast, I put down some prayer requests and God has done most of them. If there is a man to pray, truly, there is a God to answer.

I want to thank God for the salvation of my soul. I bless God for the awesome wonders He has done in my life, and for our successful traditional marriage. He took control and took us and our well-wishers to and from Ibadan safely. We bless God for journey mercies.

I want to thank God for the salvation of my soul. In October, I went for a surgery and I got a revelation that it would be successful. I took the holy communion on Sunday and the surgery was successful. On the second day, I was already on my foot. I bless the Name of the Lord.

I want to thank God for seeing me through school and my graduation. My school was always threatened by Boko Haram attacks. When my last result came out, I had a carry-over, and I prayed and the issue was resolved. Afterwards, I was posted to Plateau State for my NYSC, I thank God that I went healthy and returned healthy.

I give God all the glory. April 2017, I started my masters at the University of Ibadan, God granted me journey mercies. I had my convocation in November. I thank God that I started alive and finished alive. My parents had no reason to go to school to pack my load on my behalf.
