The Evangelism Weekend is a national program of RCCG, aimed to win more souls to the Lord and train the counsellors on evangelism strategy and follow up. This year’s edition was a four day program from Thursday, March 15th to Sunday, March 18th, 2018. Below is a breakdown of the list of activities that took place: DAY 1 – Thursday, 15th March, was an exposition on the theme – Songs of Victory: Key to Evangelism with bible text from Romans 7:12 – 25 anchored by Bro. ‘Doyin Adebisi. The service was attended by 90 people DAY 2 – On Friday, 16th March, ‘Abjoye: The King Maker’ was shown in the church auditorium with 84 people in attendance. This Mount Zion Film Production is an epic movie set in a modern world where a traditionalist elderly man visits his son’s family in the USA. This results in explosive conflicts between beliefs in his traditional religion and the Pentecostal faith of his son’s family. The movie taught practical evangelism strategies.
