On Saturday, 22nd February held the Good Women meeting with Mummy G.O. at the zonal level with the theme ‘The Mother in the land”. It had a great mix of teachings, skill acquisition, cooking tutorial, prophetic release and welfare. Indeed, it was a reflection of all shades of value. Pastor Mrs. Ola Olukoyede led the women of City of Refuge Zone on the characteristics of being a mother in the land. The women were further guided on how make Ofada stew and also professionally tutored on the art of tying gele (headgear) which is a signature of an African woman.
Medical checks up were done to ensure the good and stable heath of the women as well welfare packages given to every woman ably present. These packages ranged from rice, red oil, groundnut oil and biscuits. The Provincial Pastor’s wife, Pastor Mrs. Mojisola Abiodun graced the occasion by paying a warm and brief visit; she prophesied and blessed all present passionately. This also demonstrated her positive impression on the turn out for the event. Women from the parishes under the zone; City of Refuge, City of Praise and City of Life were well represented. It was a time well spent with much more value dispensed.
